Our campaign has been fighting for fairness since 2017.

Do you remember the town hall meeting in london december 2017? Ian Stuart said “this will not change” Mr Stuart had been with the company, at that time, for 3 years and 8 months, nonetheless he advised us that state deduction had been clearly and consistently advised to us throughout our working lives.

You are good people and you know the truth surrounding the issue of Clawback. You were promised a 2/3rd final salary pension. What you actually have is an integrated or bridging pension. You never knew this and do you know why?, well it was never ever mentioned. Midland Bank and then our new sponsoring employer HSBC continued to use the term of state deduction, this term was and still is wholly inappropriate and has unfortunately led to much confusion, upset and for some of us financial distress.

The Committee are taking the lead but without your presence and support we cannot fight alone.

Join with us and tell HSBC

  • That we are not going away. We will be sending them a very clear and consistent message before and during their prestigious AGM.
  • That all we are asking for is the pension that was promised and that they treat us fairly and with the respect that we deserve having served them loyaly.
  • For the board to understand that we scheme members have made huge contributions to their success and that the current work force in the DBS Scheme continue to do so.

So can we count on you to be there?

  • Non shareholders – can gather on the day outside the venue and the committee will be there to meet you all (gathering from 9:30am to 11am).
  • Shareholders – details of how to gain access to the meeting will be advised on 22nd March and will be available on the AGM and Shareholder meetings web page, which can be view here viewed here

You now have a choice. You can either continue to air your views and your frustration by commenting on facebook, but the board of directors can’t hear you!

Or you can come and stand with your former colleagues ‘shoulder to shoulder’ and send a message that is loud and clear and one that they will not forget. The committee look forward to seeing you all there. Let’s do this!

Travel expenses can be reimbursed but please keep your ticket receipts. information on how to claim will be advised
