HSBC Concedes Ground to Clawback Campaign.
A small success.
Whilst not agreeing to remove pension clawback, HSBC has given some ground in the face of the Midland Clawback Campaign group pressure. HSBC’s Head of Performance & Reward has confirmed the launch of the HSBC Support Fund as part of their work with the Bank Workers Charity. This is for HSBC staff and pensioners suffering financial hardship, due to unexpected problems.
This must surely include those already suffering Clawback and we would encourage those pensioners to submit a claim, highlighting to the BWC that clawback is causing or magnifying the hardship.
