Following The Pension Ombudsman’s announcement on Thursday that the Government should HONOUR the WASPI WOMEN’S claim, we should be encouraged by this, to pursue our claim against HSBC with VIGOUR. These Women have proven that there is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS.

Take an annual HSBC DBS pension of £408.12 per annum. Then advise the scheme member that on reaching State Pension Age, SPA, the afore-mentioned pension will be reduced by £619.68 per annum. Therefore your new HSBC pension will be MINUS £211.56 per annum. That is a reduction of 151.8%. On a monthly basis that translates to receiving £34.01 and then paying back £51.64. All for the privilege of having worked for this ILLUSTRIOUS GLOBAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.

Let’s be totally honest here, HSBC DO NOT want you to attend their prestigious AGM! They want YOU, ME and the STATE DEDUCTION problem to go away.

Rather than pay you the 2/3rd Final Salary Pension that was PROMISED, they would prefer to point you in the direction of the Bank Workers Charity, BWC. Do you want to be a CHARITY CASE? How does that sit with you? They are portraying themselves as caring and benevolent, by putting £5 million into the charity box. Why do they do this? Could it be that they recognise the hardship they are causing?

  • How many more errors can the Administrators make?
  • How much of this nonsense are you prepared to stomach?
  • How many of you are having to repay back debts through no fault of your own?
